I am originally from Yorkshire and have enjoyed living in the Scottish Borders for the last 10 years and now in Cumbria, with my husband, Paul, our cat Willow and our golden retriever, Filey. I am a huge animal and outdoor lover, a creative crafter and I enjoy up-cycling furniture. I always have something going on and my husband checks the calendar to find out if I am available to
cook dinner, or if it is his turn…again!
After many years in the corporate world, I decided to make a change and do something I feel is more meaningful and rewarding. Becoming a celebrant is a long-held ambition and I am delighted to have achieved accreditation in this wonderful career and I am proud to have trained with the International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC), achieving my NOCN qualification.
Working in a corporate environment has honed valuable skills which I have carried forward into my Celebrancy career, but aside from these practical skills, I am also fluent in life skills such as empathy,
kindness, listening and understanding.

I am a creative writer with a flair for bringing personal stories to life. Through listening to you, I can help to create a ceremony that reflects the person, or persons behind it. Whether that be a eulogy, wedding ceremony, naming ceremony or any other ceremony you wish to have, the words created in your ceremony will be personal to you.
Working with couples and families to make their milestone events memorable and everything they want it to be, is an honour that I take seriously.
Being a civil celebrant, there are no restrictions on what can be included in your ceremony. If you want religious content or not, rituals, tradition or something quirky, the sky's the limit!
